Labor

The United States was not the only country to have slaves. However, a question comes to mind.Places where African Americans are not used for labor; such as on plantations, places where they are viewed in degrading terms? Or is it the same where ever slavery was?

  1. I don't quite understand the question. Can you amplify it?

  2. It's even true that slavery has not ended globally. There are still many people worldwide who are forced into the service of someone else, suffer horrendously, and do not enjoy any of the fruits of their labor.

  3. Clearly, though I don't know of a modern state that incorporates slavery in its constitution or statute law de jure. De facto, of course, many people are the moral equivalent of slaves.
